The ESD describes the proposal, identifies the preliminary key environmental factors or issues, outlines the work to be undertaken to predict the environmental impacts, and identifies the relevant policy context. The actual impacts themselves will be addressed in the Environmental Review Document which will be available for public review later in the assessment process.
Gascoyne Gateway released the draft document for public review in November last year and received valuable feedback from members of the public, community organisations and government departments.
Several changes were made to reflect the comments received, including incorporating additional studies into the plan.
