Alistair is a former lawyer owning his own large successful legal practice for 30 years specialising in corporate commercial and transactional advice and the largest business conveyancing practice in Western Australia.
In recent years he has acquired and operated a number of successful commercial businesses.
- Former director of FMG one of Australia’s largest Mining Companies.
- Former Director and shareholder of former ASX listed company Movies Online Ltd.
- Former owner and executive of Jeyco (1992) Pty Ltd a marine service company servicing the Oil Gas and Mining industries. In 2012 Jeyco was acquired by NYSE listed company Actuant Corporation (ATU) for a substantial capital gain.
- Since 2017 he has been the owner of Perma Composites Pty which manufactures and long-term supplier of composites products supply to major Australian Companies including Bunnings, Sun Metal Corporation, Atco, BHP, Onslow Salt, and Australian Department of Defence. In the period of ownership, the turnover of the company has tripled.
- Former national chairman of Equestrian Australia the peak equestrian body for Olympic equestrian competition.
Alistair has also been a legal advisor and mentor to the Founding Directors of Gascoyne Gateway Limited and became a director during the incorporation period. He is also a shareholder of the Company providing early and essential working capital.
