GASCOYNE GATEWAY
About the Project
Gascoyne Gateway single jetty deep-water port
Gascoyne Gateway proposes to privately fund, build and operate a new single jetty deep-water port and renewables hub, located 10km south of Exmouth township.
The port is proposed to provide the Exmouth Gulf’s existing marine traffic with a better place to berth, including tourist vessels, and enabling the Royal Australian Navy to bring its vessels to Exmouth.
The project is set to create new jobs in a diverse range of regional industries, beyond Exmouth township and create jobs in industries as diverse as agriculture, renewable energy, water and logistics.
Gascoyne Gateway Limited is a wholly Australian-owned company, led by people with decades of responsible port management experience.
Once constructed, the port will be immediately viable and deliver a net environmental benefit by introducing better regulation to existing marine traffic in the Gulf.
Construction is expected to commence in 2024, with the port due to begin operating in Q4 2025.
